Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect

When you use ResumeFitX, we collect: your resume text (temporarily, for analysis), the job description you paste, your device fingerprint (IP address + browser info, for free trial limits), your email address (only if you complete a purchase), and payment information (processed by Razorpay — we never see your card details).

2. How we use your data

Your resume text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis and rewriting. We do not store your original resume text after free-tier analysis — it is processed in memory and discarded. For paid users, we store only the generated output files (PDF and DOCX), not the original upload. Your email is used only to send download links and payment confirmations.

3. Data retention

Free tier: resume text deleted immediately after analysis. No files stored.
Paid tier: generated PDF and DOCX files stored for 60 days (Starter) or 90 days (Pro), then permanently deleted.
Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law.
Device fingerprint: stored in Redis for 90 days for free trial enforcement.

4. Third-party services

We use: Anthropic (AI analysis and rewriting), Razorpay (payment processing), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), Upstash (rate limiting). Each service has its own privacy policy.

5. Your rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us atsupport@getresume.fit. We will delete all personal data within 7 business days, except records required by law.
